GraceTree native bee hotel

Over the last couple of weeks, in response to our Resolve, “Honouring the First Peoples of this land, nurture all of God’s holy creation,” we’ve been building a habitat for some of the 1600 species of bees that are native to this country.

There are clay rooms for blue banded bees (some of softer builders’ clay, others using black clay from our own property), bamboo for leaf cutter bees, and other pieces of mostly native timbers (redgum, manna gum, etc) for other bees. Check it out below.
