Becoming a member

There are primarily two layers of involvement with GraceTree.

The first is called “Friends” – this is those who come regularly to GraceTree events but haven’t committed to the group or its practices.

The second is called “Family” – this is those who come regularly to GT events and commit themselves to the common way of life described in our Resolve document. “Family” names this set of commitments to a particular quality of relationship with one another, the earth, and the rest of the world. (This is what is referred to as “membership” in our constitution). Family must also have been baptised as a profession of their faith in Jesus.
